HPE Discover
The Problem
Hewlett Packard Enterprise were already using a long standing database to register 10,000 attendees for passes and to book accommodation. They also needed the ability for the registration team to book global travel for 500 attendees in specific groups but their current database could not allow this add on.
The Solution
We built a bespoke, branded microsite in seven days for attendees to request their travel requirements. The request data was standardised, making use of drop downs specific to each of the groups’ needs to ensure easy report building.
HTML emails were developed to confirm customer’s requests. An admin site was built to allow the travel bookers to monitor each travellers’ status and the budget spend to date by the various business units.
Customised Reporting
The data fields were built to ensure efficient mail merging and to produce customised reports e.g. travel confirmations for each attendee, travel spend per group and hotel block reports.
